Snow on the ground in the Minneapolis!

After a near record balmy November, which cyclists and runners were happy about, the skiers were finally rewarded this morning with a thin white blanket of snow in Minneapolis! While this dusting of snow is hardly enough to ski on, realize that Rome wasn't built in a day. We live in the Midwest and the snow will come!

Our sources tell us that literally all Midwestern ski areas with snow guns now have their guns blazing 24 x 7 and hope to be open by this weekend. Places like Troll Hollow, Elm Creek, Theo Wirth, and ABR do plan on/hope to be open for skiing this weekend!

What does this mean for you? Well, if you haven't already, it's time to scrape the storage wax off of your skis and put the ski box on your car roof rack. It also means that it's time to head up to the Cyclova XC party at the Sawmill Saloon on Saturday! We hope to see you there. We hope to see you at the "OO Birkie Trail Head" at 1PM for either a ski or rollerski (contingent on snow) and then we will gather at the Sawmill Saloon at about 5 in the back room for drinks and dinner!
