Do The Landgraf Loppet This Sat. January 8th

Hey All!

I sent out a Facebook and a group Email the other day, so there's no excuse for you not having heard about this...but I'm going to give you the rundown again anyway.

This weekend, David Landgraf has put together an impromptu race that I have dubbed the "Landgraf Loppet" (David doesn't call it that...but I think the name is awesome!).

Anyway, this is going to be a nice little event that will help you blow the cobwebs out of your lungs and not be too hard on the pocketbook.

One of the things that sometimes goes under the radar is how expensive it is to keep all these wonderful ski trails immaculately groomed.  A race like the Landgraf Loppet is really our CIVIC DUTY as skiers since all proceeds go to grooming costs.  But seriously, this race is super low key since it's only $15 for 15K!  Awesome!

For more details check the Hickory Ridge Ski Trails Page (which is a pretty awesome page by the way).

Here are the basics:
When: Saturday January 8th at 10 AM
Where: Hickory Ridge
Distance: 15K
Cost: $15

Special Concerns:
This is a bring your own number type race (super casual).  An old Birkie Bib works fine.  This should just be a super fun and relaxing way to get out and get a quick race into your legs without busting the bank.
Also, carpool if possible because parking space is limited!
I'm looking forward to seeing all you CyclovaXC Psychos out there!  Don't disappoint!
