Cyclova XC 5th Anniversary Party - Thrown by Steve M & Duane - !Please RSVP!

I've been reflecting on the past 5 years - as Cyclova XC is coming up on our 5th Anniversary on October 1!  It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since our Grand Opening!  So many things have happened since then - cycling has grown enormously here in the valley, we've met so many great folks, kids have grown up, thousands of people have been fit on quality bikes and skis, many miles of new trails have been built, and thousands of people from across the globe have participated in Cyclova XC events!  Wow!

As I was reflecting on this all a few days ago, Steve McCormack & Duane came into my office and let me know that they were going to throw a 5th Anniversary Party - that the entire Cyclova XC family is invited to!  Ben and I are incredibly humbled that our friends beat us to the punch at throwing a party!

With that said - the entire Cyclova XC family is invited to join us.  See the details in the above image of the party flyer - and please do RSVP directly with Steve as per the instructions in the flyer!  Wear your Cyclova gear - and see you on October 29th!

Note that the party will be in the new Luminaries Retreat building in downtown St Croix Falls - and this will be a superb opportunity to check out all that Amy Sotis has going on with her new business!

Skull-N-Bones Free Gravel Ride This Saturday, September 24th!

Hey Folks!
One of the great Gravel riding events of the season is coming up this Saturday, September 24th in Bruce, WI! It is The Skull-N-Bones Gravel challenge which is run by our buddy Chris Locke! Chris does a tremendous job putting together a very tough course. Believe me when I tell you that the hills around Bruce are no joke!

For those of you who are interested, here are the Garmin Connect links for the various courses:

Camping, etc., is available, just check out the Facebook Page or Group. Chris is also happy to answer questions so contact him directly. Here's Chris's official announcement from his page:

Skull-N-Bones III details September 24th.

Registration and cue sheet pick up starts at 6:00 AM at the Bruce fire hall 829 N Blackburn St. Bruce WI on the morning of the event.

Start time: mass roll out "ALL COURSES" at 8:00 AM

THESE ARE FULLY UNSUPPORTED RIDES.

There is a gas station on the 100 mile course with everything you could want in Birchwood. It is at about 70 miles on the course. All the courses are difficult so be prepared to be on your own for your chosen distance. That being said you may see me on the course at some random time with some refreshments but don't count on it. It may not come at the right time for you or at all.

Hey...it's a bike ride with a pirate theme, do I really have to sell this all that hard?  See you on the gravel!

Fundraiser Ride for New Mtb Trails in Danbury--Keizer Lake Trails Project

Today is the first day for registration for the 2017 event. Prices go up TOMORROW so get in now!
